Everyone was treated to a scrumptious buffet breakfast while we all nursed our tired heads with caffeine of some invention. An on-going silent auction of various unique Xena merchandise went on in the background to benefit the James Ellis Foundation of Hofstra University. This is a wonderful charity started up by James Ellis' daughter after her father died of cancer. She helps those diagnosed or who are survivors of cancer go to school and finish up their degrees. A young woman who's mother and father were diagnosed with cancer, and I believe her mother passed away, came up and talked about how life changing it was to be sponsored by the Foundation. It was truly motivational, and I'm glad we all were able to help raise money for such a great cause!

Hudson was the most popular guest, but everyone performed marvelously. The body guard going along behind Hudson tried desperatly to keep her moving, but Hudson often perservered to steal a few more moments with her fans. In fact, there were no personal photos allowed with Hudson, much less any fun photos! While she was at our table she did stand behind me and rub my shoulders almost the whole time, and I was pretty happy with myself. But, I'd often seen pictures from other Charity Breakfasts where Hudson was draped over some lucky girl, and I so desperatly wanted to be her! lol Well, I got my wish! Even though she wasn't supposed to, Hudson jumped in the lap of my neighbor just because she said she was a "Libra." I quickly added in that I was a Leo, and Hudson looked at me and said "Ahh, that means you like attention, huh?" And then she jumped in mine!!! And she sat there for a minute or so before standing up and, at the urging of our table, letting rip her famous Callisto scream! What a treat!!! And boy did she get in trouble with her female paratrooper. But, it was SOOOO worth it!
